Do I Have a Shaving Problem?

Published by Beautician under Shaving

It’s incredible how many people suffer in silence when it comes to shaving related problems. It can be totally avoided as there are many excellent shaving products available that not only make shaving a pleasant experience but also reduce the signs of premature ageing. Men in particular avoid seeking out grooming products in general and all too often neglect their skin altogether.

If you suffer from nicks and cuts while shaving or raw and sensitive skin after shaving then you need to use a product like the Bob Norburn 3-in-1 shaving solution. It’s a pre-shave, shaving cream and moisturiser all in one. The lotion is easily absorbed into your skin and it forms an invisible barrier between your razor blade and the surface of your skin. You can shave all your facial hair off without using any water and because it’s invisible you can clearly see the hair you are shaving off. Once you have finished shaving you simply apply another layer of cream and that will soothe and moisturise your skin.

The great thing about a shaving product like Bob Norburn 3-in-1 is that over the space of a few weeks it will nourish your skin and leave it with a healthy glow.

Bob Norburn shaving solution also contains a significant quanity of grape seed oil, which is a powerful anti-oxidant. With continued use this moisturiser will delay the signs of ageing. The general concensus is that Vitamin E is the elixir of life when it comes to healthy skin. However, did you know that grape seed oil has 15,000 times more anti-oxidant value than vitamin E, according to research done at Ohio State University.

How I Healed My Ugly Razor Rash & Ingrown Hairs

Published by Beautician under Shaving

I used to suffer from very sensitive skin, which caused constant razor rash and a lot of nicks when shaving. Areas of my neck in particular was particularly affected by the continual damage caused by daily shaving. The top layer of skin became susceptible to nicks & cuts and it bled frequently, this also resulted in ingrowns and shaving rash. From my research, this is quite typical. Skin becomes damaged, wounds scab and hairs become trapped beneath the surface of the skin and start growing inwards because their normal access route to the surface is blocked.

Skin in poor condition not only looks unsightly but is also a cause of embarrassment, which can really dent your self esteem!

Tend Skin is very popular and definitely does help a great deal. However, you should also be aware of potentially better alternatives. I started out with Tend Skin and it did combat the problem of razor rash and ingrows effectively, but I found it to be a very thin liquid which was runny and difficult to apply at times. It also stings when applied to raw skin, this is because it contains Isopropyl Alcohol which is a very harsh form of alcohol (AKA Rubbing Alcohol). When applied to skin it can cause a burning sensation and lead to dry skin.

After using Tend Skin I did some research on alternatives and found a couple which are particularly noteworthy. The first one is Priva Shave for Razor Rash, Bumps & Ingrown Hairs and it’s a thicker gel like solution that contains SD Alcohol 40, which is denatured Ethyl Alcohol so it causes minimum irritation when applied and doesn’t dry out your skin. The results for me were identical to Tend Skin, but without the irritation and application problems.

The other product I found that solved all my shaving woes was Bob Norburn Dry Shaving Solution. It creates an invisible barrier between your skin and your razor blade when shaving. Within a month all my shaving problems had disappeared. Between Bob Norburn 3-in-1 Shaving Solution and Priva Shave for Razor Rash, Bumps & Ingrown Hairs all my shaving irritions are gone.

There are many good products on the markey, some worthy of great acclaim, but you should do your own research and find what suits you best…

The Crazy Thing About Shaving!

Published by Beautician under Shaving

Millions of people shave everyday with shaving foam or gel, water and their razor and nothing much has fundamentally changed for decades. Some might say that not needs to change! But, if this is true then why do so many people, men in particular, suffer from recurring bouts of razor rash/bumps, nicks, cuts and ingrown hairs? Maybe a fresh new approach is needed?

Bob Norburn, a long time engineer in the aerospace industry, has come up with a concept that he has spent over 10 years developing. Knowing that water and foam/gel did not provide adequate protection for the skin, he created a whole new concept in shaving based around a 3-in-1 Pre-Shave, Shaving Cream and Moisturiser. Think about it, why buy 3 different products when a single product does it all?

With the Bob Norburn Dry Shaving Solution you wash your face, pat dry with a towel, massage the cream into your skin and start shaving. One of the advantages of this shaving cream is that it’s absorbed into your skin and creates an invisible barrier between your skin and your razor blade. You can actually see exactly what you are shaving and there is no discomfort. After you have finished shaving simply apply another layer of cream and that’s all your moisturising need taken care of.

The Bob Norburn Dry Shaving Solution contains a significant quantity of grape seed oil and all its ingredients are food grade so it’s literally good enough to eat! Grape seed oil is 15,000 times stronger than vitamin E (great for skin) according to research done at Ohio State University.

People using Bob Norburn shaving solution have all reported a significant improvement in the appearance of their skin and complete disappearance of shaving rash/bumps, nicks and cuts.

What is the best shaving cream? Well, having tried many over the years, I would say that Bob Norburn 3-in-1 is certainly top of my list!

After using it for a few weeks you will notice that your skin will have a healthy glow. However, don’t take my word for it, retailer Body4Real have launched a 30 Day Challenge allowing you to try Bob Norburn Dry Shaving Solution for yourself.
